Here as some examples of how to use Mech-Q.

First let’s take a look at our Piping Module. In this video we’re inserting a 3D elbow …. Simply keep inputing points until you’re ready for another pipe run. Isometrics are also included .. using our tools it’s easy it is to generate diagrams and pipe spool drawings.

We also have a P&ID module that contains a complete library of mechanical symbols to be used in Pipe and Instrumentation Diagrams.

Our Ducting Software allow you to draw Transitions, Wyes and Tees, Branches, Diffusers, Offsets and more. Plus you can also choose Ducting shapes like Rectangular, Round or Flat. And just like our Piping Module – you can work in either 2D or 3D.

Our Mechanical module will create gears, springs and more. Within our material handling drop down you’ll even find more tools like our conveyor utility.

Also our nuts and bolts utility found within the fastener pulldown allows you to draw in both 2D and 3D.

Last but not least, our Structural Software module will draw structural steel members, including steel shapes and columns. Also it includes a powerful set of utilities for beam- connections, stairs, ladders, bracing, hand railing, welding symbols and much much more.

All menus integrate within your CAD application. A pulldown is accessible directly in the menubar and in addition you’ll have either toolbars or a Mech-Q ribbon displayed depending on your preferences.

Each menu is laid out in a very similar way. Just tell Mech-Q what part you’ll need … input the points and presto, you’re done.

Note: Even if you don’t have AutoCAD or LT we also have a solution called AViCAD thats includes our tools.
