Our 6 day FREE piping class will take you through
The steps you need to follow to draw a 3D piping spool …

GREAT CLASS FOR FIRST TIME 3D CAD USERS
Even if you are new to 3D CAD or 3D piping, this free pipe class will not be an impossible task to get done. We’ll take you step by step through the entire process of creating the drawing. We’ll also show you how to export and print your final drawing.
VIDEOS WILL SHOW YOU HANDS ON TECHNIQUES
The piping course is divided into 6 days of learning. Each day we’ll email you a video and even some practice work so you can try examples on your own. You’ll discover that inputting 3D pipe is not as hard as it sounds.
WE’RE USING A REAL WORLD CAD EXAMPLE
This is not a made up example but a real CAD project using spec’d piping fittings. This way you can do the same when you’re ready to draw on your own. By the end of the class you’ll have the foundation you need to take it to the next level.
EXTRA HELP IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE
During the course if you have questions you can leave us a comment below the video and we’ll gladly answer it within 24 hours. You can also email or call us as well.

What You’ll Get In Our 6 Days Of Piping Class

You’ll receive 6 piping lessons which you’ll be able to access anytime. You’ll be able to learn at your own pace and return to classes to review if needed.

We’ll provide you with a starter DWG file so you can follow along and try it independently. Easy-to-follow homework examples are also provided for extra practice.

You’ll also receive three weekly lessons in your email to remind you to practice! We’ll help keep you on track too. Please feel free to ask questions anytime.

Each day you’ll learn something new about 3D piping drawings.

Day 1—After an introduction to the piping drawing settings dialog, we’ll define our Piping Spool by defining a few things in the Mech-Q add-on.
Day 2- We’re inserting an assortment of pipe fittings including Tees, Flanges and Elbows into our drawing. These are typical to 3d pipeline drawings. We’ll also show you some alignment techniques.
Day 3: We’ll show you how to create a Bill Of Materials (BOM) utility, three different exports, and different methods for creating a drawing schedule.
Day 4—We’ll show you how to use our handy 3D dimensioning tool. Additionally, we’ll add some annotations to our Piping Spool and finalize our drawing.
Day 5: We’re going to walk you through setting up our drawing sheet and adding our schedule to it.
Day 6- On our final day we’ll show you how to plot your drawing to either a local printer or PDF file.
