Will it open my existing AutoCAD drawings?

Yes. AViCAD uses DWG as its native format, so your drawings open and save as they are, with nothing to convert.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. At the end of your term you can move from Monthly to Yearly or Perpetual, or from Yearly to Monthly. A Perpetual license can’t be turned into a subscription, but you can add a second seat on any plan.

Do I get new versions?

On a Monthly or Yearly plan you always get the newest version, with no upgrade fees. Perpetual licenses can be upgraded whenever you choose; upgrades are optional, never forced.

Staying on AutoCAD or BricsCAD? If you only need the engineering tools, Mech-Q adds them to the CAD you already use, with single modules available.

Flex Licensing allows a single AViCAD perpetual license to be shared between multiple computers or users, with only one active use at a time.

Can I install AViCAD on multiple computers?
Yes. Install AViCAD on multiple computers and transfer the license between them as needed.

Can more than one person use the license at the same time?
No. Flex Licensing permits one active user at a time.

Can I move the license between my office and home computer?
Yes. Flex Licensing is ideal for users who work from multiple locations or use more than one computer.

Can I transfer the license to another user?
Yes. The active license can be released and transferred to another user or computer when needed.

Do I need a network license server?
No. Flex Licensing is cloud-based and does not require a server, VPN, or license manager.

Is Flex Licensing a subscription?
No. Flex Licensing is a one-time add-on available with AViCAD perpetual licenses.

Who is Flex Licensing best for?
Individual users who work from multiple computers, consultants, remote workers, and small teams that occasionally share a license.

Monthly and Yearly plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account before renewal; please cancel at least two business days before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue. Payments already made are not refunded.

Each license is for a single user. A Flex License allows multiple users to share the same license, one at a time. Ask us about network licensing for more users.

The software is provided without express warranties.
