Dynamic Input
What is covered in this lesson
- Dynamic Input (DYNMODE)
- Helps you keep focus on your drawing area
- Tooltip appears near cursor
- Minimal typing (autofills the command)
- Polar tracking (F10)
- Relative input and direct distance
Type DYNMODE then set to 3
Press F8 to lock Ortho mode
Try inputting a line (using the L command) – see the distance as you input, then type the distance in and press Enter.
Now press F10 to activate Polar Tracking
Right-click on Polar Tracking icon then set to 30 degrees
Type L and then Enter to continue the line – lock the cursor to the 30 degree angle (look for line to highlight to green)
Lastly, type in a distance
