Using the Space Bar on your keyboard

Grips give you a quick way to modify objects by giving you access to commonly used editing commands and commonly used object points.

Homework Time – Now you try it!

Draw a rectangle. Then selecting it and click on a grip.

Then press the space bar to go into a move command, and a second time you go into a rotate command, rotate the rectangle about the grip. While still in the rotate command, activate your polar snap activated (F10). Then rotate it up 30 or 45 degrees using your mouse.

After practicing this select the rectangle, then type RO command to rotate the rectangle. Follow the command prompts to finish the rotating it. You can also type in the angle you wish to rotate as opposed to using your mouse.
