Mech-Q is being used to create the pipe. See https://cadavenue.com/mech-q.htm

Today I wanted to talk more about what Direct Distance Entry (or Input) is?

Direct distance is a drawing technique that takes just a little practice. But it plays a really vital role when it comes to inputing points accurately in CAD.

To draw the pipe below we used Direct Distance Entry directly inside of Mech-Q.

By first activating the ORTHO (F8) or POLAR (F10), we simply move our pointer to the right, type in our distance and press ENTER.

Lastly pressing ENTER again completes the pipe.
