Mech-Q was first released in 1992 and has since this time grown into a full engineering package containing Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, and Structural utilities for both AutoCAD and other IntelliCAD-based applications. We serve thousands of companies worldwide. All our modules have both 2D and 3D capabilities.

The Full Suite contains our mechanical, piping, ducting, and structural modules. If you have CAD, these Modules can also be purchased separately. Mech-Q is available either as a bundled Full Suite or as separate modules.

Mech-Q Piping Module

Piping

Finally an easy-to-use, full-featured piping package. A comprehensive range of pipe fittings, flanges, and valves – Welded, flanged, threaded, PVC, Cast Iron, Duct Iron, Mechanical Joint, Sanitary, PVC, Victaulic… Other utilities include Isometric piping, P&ID, plumbing symbols, fabricated pipe, hangers, and vessels.

Mech-Q HVAC Ducting Module

Generate complex rectangular, round, and flat oval ducting layouts with surprising ease. The software adds insulation as required and the bends design is fully customizable. Auto-Label and Bill of Materials are some of the many options available to you.

 

Mech-Q Structural Module

Get productive using a full range of steel shapes (AISC, BHP, CISC, DIN, BS, RSA, JIS, IS, …) with weighted auto-BOM, beam-connections, fabrication detail, stairs, ladders, bracing, hand railing, frames, and many more.

 

Mech-Q Mechanical Module

Choose from a wide assortment of mechanical symbols, a large range of fasteners, bearings & housings, gears, material handling equipment, springs, shafts utility, Bill of Materials (BOM) also included.

 

What’s Required?

Either AutoCAD or an AutoCAD vertical such as Civil or Plant 3D for example plus these CAD applications are also supported.

What if I don’t have CAD?

We also offer a standalone version called AViCAD with both AutoCAD-like commands and our Mech-Q tools.

What do I get?

The Mech-Q Suite contains Piping, Structural, Ducting, and Mechanical. It is available in 2D/3D with Bill of Materials (BOM).

Is there a network version?

Yes for larger offices, a Mech-Q Network Module is also available.

Do I need CAD?

  • If you have AutoCAD, Bricscad or Intellicad you can run it as an add-on You’ll need either the full version or vertical (i. AutoCAD Civil or Plant 3D), Bricscad or IntelliCAD,
