In this video, I explain how to change the default text in the Mech-Q (CAD engineering software). The first step is understanding the text height and drawing scale, found on a schedule provided on cadavenue.com/dwgscale. Then, we’ll set the dim scale and adjust the text size to match the desired height on the physical paper. The text size is adjusted to match the schedule in the model space. In the last part of the video, I’ll show you how all this works with Mech-Q and save our font settings for future drawings.
