How to setup a cad backup from start to finish.
This is an automatic way to backup your CAD drawings using OneDrive
If you don’t have a backup plan be see how to use OneDrive (there is no cost to start up with their 5 GB plan and about $2 mo to upgrade).
You could also use Google Drive, the process and pricing is nearly the same.
We’ll want to use our Documents Folder as our working CAD folder. So first move any CAD folders under this folder you want to backup.
Then we’ll create an account and download the software to automate the backups.
This is very easy to implement in about 10-15 min. And all your files are securely stored offsite so that when your drive fails or disaster strikes you’ll be ready.
